WILMA RUDOLPH: A SUCCESS STORY OF OLYMPIC 1960

 In my last post DESTINY AND LUCK i had given the example of Wilma Rudolph, now in this post i am going to share her story.

 Wilma Rudolph was born in poor family in Tennessee. When she was 4 years old she fall ill. She was suffering from double pneumonia and scarlet fever because of which she become paralyzed. She was not able to walk and require brace to support her legs. Doctors told her that she can't walk on her feet for her lifetime. But at that situation she was dreaming of becoming the fastest runner in the world. When she was 9 years old she removed her brace and walked on her feet. When she was 13 years old she participated in race competition and she came last. After that she started to participate in all race competition but each and every time she last. She put all her effort and one day she came 1st in the race.

When she was 15 years old she met with the coach of Tennessee State University whose name was Ed Temple. When Wilma told her that she want to become the fastest runner in the world then Ed Temple told her that no one could stop her because of her will power and dedication.

After Practicing for long period she was selected in the Olympic. She has to run with Jutta Heine who was the best runner in the world at that time. Wilma had not only won the race with her but she won 3 Gold Medal in that Olympic. It was the Olympic game of 1960 and in that game a paralyzed woman won the gold medal.

What we learnt from her lesson?

Successful person can get success in their difficult time also, not only at that time when everything is favorable to them. If a Paralyzed girl can won the Gold Medal in Olympic then why we can't achieve success in our life. She achieved success because she had never given any excuses and she never thought of her problems. She always dream of becoming the fastest runner in the world and inspite of so much of problem she achieved her Dream.

To achieve success we must focus on our Dream and never complain of our situations because if we will never get our best situation. We have to start in that situation only and have to change our life, Success not only comes by only thinking of favorable situations but we have to fight with our Dream in dificult situations also.

DESTINY AND LUCK

There are some people who always blame their Destiny for their failure. These people always give excuses that because of their destiny or bad luck they are not able to gain success. They are not able to success because they are not lucky. They had done their best but after that they didn't have success. Since our childhood we always listen that Luck is very important to have Success and we start believing on it. Many times we see that in spite of doing the best a person lose the success.

In spite of doing so much of practise a sportsperson lose the game because he got injury during the Game. Many times we prepare our best in Exams but before the starting the Exam we start feeling fever. Is this luck or something else?

Since our childhood we always hear that some people are very lucky and some are born unlucky.

If you are lucky, then congrats but if you think that you are unlucky, then this Post is for you.

Friends if you think that you are unlucky, then you have 2 options,

1.       Either you cry and blame your Destiny, or

2.       Fight against your Destiny and do your Best.

Friends we are not born to cry on our Destiny, we have to fight it. When you read the stories of Successful people then you will find that they are not lucky but they fight. Mary Kom was not lucky, she born in poor family and belongs to very backward area of India but she won Gold Medal for India. Wilma Rudolph was paralysed. Doctors told her that she can never walk on her Feet. She wanted to become The Fastest Runner in the world but Nature had not done any justice with her. She was suffering from polio was use brace to support her legs but she fight against her Destiny. At last she won the Gold medal in Olympic in 1960.

For giving the performance of 10 seconds in Olympic sportsperson spent their 10 years of life in practise. Are they Lucky? No they are not lucky, they faced the Difficulties and fight for their Dream. Everyone face difficult situations, and I know that you are also facing lot of difficulties in fulfilling your Dream but remember that in spite of so much of problem it is only you and only you who can make your Dream true because if a person is able to see the Dream then he is also able to Achieve it. If these people can achieve their Dream, ten why you can’t? But for Achieving your Dream you must have to:

1.       Believe on work not on Destiny,

2.       Never be afraid of facing the situation,

3.       Read the stories of those people who got success in your field even facing the same problem which you are facing.

  

Friends never think that you are Unlucky, Luck only favor those who struggle. Struggle for Dream.

Hard Work and Talent

Everyone have desire to get success but they don’t have desire to make preparation for it.

Success never comes by luck but we have to work very hard to gain it. Most of us want to be success but they never give their effort and time for it. Lot of Determination, discipline and patience is required to gain it. Henry Ford told that “the more you work hard, more the luck favour you.”

If a person is setting in front of Dictionary and he want to learn words from it without touching it, then he is making fool himself. He has to open the Dictionary and have to learn the words. Like the same way without hard work no one can get talent.

In our daily life we see that some person is far better than other or a student is very much good in studies among all his/her friend or some is very good in sports. Why they are so good and rest of people is lacking behind?  The reason is that they give time to their work and they work much harder than rest of people. Talent do not come only by Dreaming but we have to Work hard to achieve it. Talents are developed by beating hours and hours of your craft.  

Fiends if you want to achieve anything in your life than you must work hard. There is no any other alternative of hard work.  If you work hard then you can also become talented. You can also Get a very good marks in Exams. No one in this world can stop you if you start working hard for your Dream either it may be getting 1^st Rank in class or in job or in any field.

One Day a person told the Great Violin Player Fritz Kreisler that “I can spend my whole life to learn to play violin like you.” Then Fritz Kreisler told his that he had already spent whole his life to learn violin.

Many people say that they can’t become successful person because they have no talent. They are right because if you are not able to believe on yourself, then how can you get success.

If you say that “you can” and if you say that “you can’t” in the both case you are correct. 

WHY WE SHOULD NEVER QUIT

Friend in this life everyone face difficult situations. Many times we lose Hope that there is no Chance to get Success and it is better to Quit. At that Point of Life  when every thing is Unfavourable to Us we think it is Better to Quit.

Quit is one of the Easiest option available  to Human Being and that is Why most of the people Accept it.

But some people Never accept this easiest option which is acceptable by most people because they want to Be different. They tell that we should never Quit Because:

1. We started the journey to achieve our Dream and Without Achieving it, if we quit then we will Never remain Happy.  Someone told that "If u want 2 Quit at any point of your journey to Success, Then stop there and think Why I started this journey".
2.  We should Never Quit because we Already face lot of Troubles, difficulties and Pain. Now it is the Time to Get Reward of Our Pain.
3. If we quit  then we will never get the Reward of The Pain which we Suffered.
4. Success Only comes to Those Who Have Capability to face the Difficult Situations.

UNIVERSE

Universe here refers that u can do any this which u want.  U has the capability to Dream and u have the capability to make your Dream true. Human is born with enormous power and it also has the power to change the world. It is Human who can create Machines, who can create Happiness, who can stand even in Difficulties. Thomas Edison was a Human who Invented Light Bulb Even after Failure of More than 10,000 times. Wright Brothers was also a Human Being who made the people to fly in the Sky. There r still more Examples.

If they can do then why we can’t?
